Meet Designers Eva & Nina

Eva Marling and Nina Marling are the fictional muses behind CERAMICA NICEA, created to embody the calm, timeless elegance that defines our Iznik‑inspired world.

Their visual universe is shaped by sea horizons, soft light and quiet interiors, echoing the atmosphere we want our ceramics to bring into homes, boutique hotels and thoughtfully designed spaces.

By giving this world two recognisable faces, we turn abstract ideas like “elegancy” and “art” into something more human, relatable and memorable for our visitors.​

Through Eva’s eyes, we explore scenes of everyday living:

A breakfast table by the window, a stack of plates waiting for friends to arrive, a single vase catching the afternoon sun. Nina, in turn, guides us through more architectural moments – lobby walls, reception counters, curated shelves in a hotel suite – where Iznik‑inspired panels and objects act as quiet statements rather than loud decorations.

Together they show how Ceramica Nicea pieces can move seamlessly between personal rituals and professional hospitality settings, always adding a layer of understated luxury.​

For us, Eva and Nina are also a way to speak more personally while remaining fully professional:

They allow Ceramica Nicea to tell stories, not just list products. When we design new collections, style a pop‑up exhibition or prepare a project for an interior designer, we ask how these characters would live with each piece, and what kind of serenity or emotion it should bring to their world.
